The 3rd Annual Upstate Ice Jam event is currently being planned by TIYLO for the weekend of February 25 & 26, 2011.

Friday Night, February 25th
All events for Friday evening are held at the LaFargeville Legion, Main Street, LaFargeville, NY
Spaghetti Dinner from 5-7pm
Spaghetti and meat balls; tossed salad; rolls & dessert.
$5/adults or $3 children
Lip Sync Contest—Amateur’s Only 
7-9pm
Registration fee: $5 individual or $10 group
Cash prizes for Judge’s Choice and Audience Choice
Local celebrity judges include: Leah Cerow of North Country Idol; Seth Warden and Terry Jones of Minus Mike

Hot Chocolate Hustle: Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, February 26
WHERE: Begins and ends at Lion’s Field on Webb Street, Downtown Clayton, NY
TIME: Registration at 8am // Fun Run/walk begins at 9am
Families are encouraged to participate.
COST: $5 adults/ children are FREE
PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A MUG (12 and over) AND UNLIMITED HOT CHOCOLATE AT THE FINISH LINE…WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

The Clayton Fire Police will assist with course safety.

The Thousand Islands Land Trust will be having a bonfire and activities at the Zenda Farm Preserve from noon-4pm.
Outdoor Volleyball Tournament
TIYLO is sponsoring teams from Clayton to participate in the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce’s Winter-Green Outdoor Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, February 26. Teams of up to 8 can register with TIYLO and we will cover your registration fee. You must pre-register by February 23rd by either visiting www.TIYLO.org or emailing THIS FORM: volleyball_registration-form to TIYLO@live.com by that date. Registration/Sign In is at Aubrey’s Inn at noon, and the games begin at 1pm.
Sunday, February 27th
Clayton Chamber of Commerce hosts Cardboard Sled Race—noon at Lion’s Field on Webb Street, Clayton. This event is for children under the age of 15. All children who participate receive a prize. For more information, contact the Chamber at 315-686-3771, ext. 3.
